Reopening Wilson Farm Tot Lot
We are proud to share our involvement in the renovation of the Tot Lot at Wilson Farm Park in Tredyffrin Township. Working alongside Simone Collins Landscape Architecture, we helped reimagine five play areas throughout the park, creating engaging and inclusive spaces designed to encourage play, exploration, and connection.
Designed for children ages 2 to 12, the large, inclusive Tot Lot features three distinct “pods,” each thoughtfully organized around age and activity. The result is a dynamic play environment that offers something for children at different stages of development while providing opportunities for active and imaginative play.
Landscape Structures equipment brings the playground to life with a variety of exciting features. A hillside slide takes advantage of the site’s natural topography, while a ZipKrooz two-way zip line adds an element of adventure. Swings are positioned to overlook the park’s scenic pond, creating a unique and memorable setting for play.
The Volo structure is shaded and provides opportunities for children to climb, explore, and relax on or beneath LSI Flexx netting. With twenty integrated play activities, the structure offers a wide range of ways for children to engage with the space.
For younger visitors ages 2 to 5, a dedicated play area provides toddler swings, age-appropriate climbing and sliding features, sensory panels, and a Cozy Dome. These elements create an inviting environment where younger children can safely explore and build confidence through play.
The Tot Lot is part of the larger 90-acre Wilson Farm Park, which offers an extensive range of recreational amenities for the community. In addition to the renovated Tot Lot, the park features two smaller play areas designed and supplied by General Recreation, along with pavilions, sports fields and courts, restrooms, a putting green, an amphitheater, and more.
We are proud to have been part of this exciting project and to contribute to a thoughtfully designed play environment that will serve children and families in the Tredyffrin Township community for years to come.
